Composer Joey Altruda is no stranger to the Los Angeles music scene. Along with his frequent collaborator, drummer Willie McNeil, Joey was a member of both Tupelo Chain Sex and Jump with Joey, two of L.A.’s most distinctive and seminal alternative bands. Joey has continued to make music as a solo artist with several CDs out, including Cocktails with Joey. As a film composer, Joey has had music featured in Sex and the City, Thick as Thieves, Clockwatchers, and Slackers, and has just completed the score for the film Comic Book Villains.
