-- Will Stewart lives in
Los Angeles with his dog, Woody. His film credits as an
actor include Training Day, Goodbye Lover, Playing God, and Mr.
Holland’s Opus. Television credits include guest-starring
appearances on E.R., Sex and the City, Charmed, Nash Bridges, and
the final episode of Murder She Wrote.
He has just completed two romantic leads in Abamedia's World
Without Waves, and Raphael Zielinsky's Pas De Deux, both
currently hitting the festival circuit. As a writer, Will has two original screenplays now in production at Cinetel Pictures, and a comedy script, Pedal to the Metal—based loosely on the life of the world's first international sports superstar, Major Taylor, a black bicycle racer at the turn of the century—in development (with co-writer Paul Duran). He is also co-adapting Victor Villasenor's best-selling novel, Thirteen Senses into a film. Having worked with Roland Joffe, Stephen Herek, Antoine Fuqua, Tim Hunter, and his favorite—Paul Duran—Will has recently turned to directing himself. His debut, the short film Ladies—shot on location in New York, won "Best Of Short Film Slam" at the Pioneer Theater in NYC. He is currently collaborating on a project with his novelist girlfriend Kim McBride, which he will write, direct, and possibly star in. He hopes that everyone will adopt a dog. -- |
